Success Stories
My experience with the Kohatian Foundation has been nothing but positive. Throughout my four years at Cadet College Kohat, I was privileged to receive full financial support from the foundation, which allowed me to continue my education at such a prestigious institution. I personally know many of my peers who also benefited from the foundation’s generosity, whether through partial or fully funded scholarships based on their needs. Furthermore, as I pursue my Master’s studies at LUMS, the Kohatian Foundation has once again extended its support, reaffirming its commitment to helping students. I deeply appreciate their unwavering assistance and remain grateful for the opportunities they have provided me
Dear Kohatians
It gives me immense pleasure to write about Kohatians Foundation. My education at CCK and KMC was fully supported by KF
Moreover, another of my classfellow sponsored by KF is now Neurosurgeon at LRH. These are success stories of KF
May Allah bless KF for making our lives and giving us this opportunity
Long Live Kohatians
Long Live KF
As a proud beneficiary of the Kohatians Foundation (KF), I am compelled to share my heartfelt gratitude for the profound impact this organization has had on my life. Established by the dedicated cadets of Cadet College Kohat, KF exemplifies the spirit of philanthropy and community support, focusing on aiding students who face financial challenges.
The assistance I received from KF was transformative. With their support, I was able to pursue my education without the constant worry of financial constraints. This allowed me to fully dedicate myself to my studies, resulting in my achievement as a position holder in both Matriculation and Intermediate exams at Cadet College Kohat.
The foundation’s commitment to fairness and transparency in its operations is commendable. Each beneficiary’s situation is carefully assessed, ensuring that help is directed where it is genuinely needed. This thoughtful approach not only empowers students but also fosters a sense of responsibility and motivation to excel.
My journey continued at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, where I further developed my skills and knowledge. The solid educational foundation provided by KF played a crucial role in my success, enabling me to graduate and secure a position as Assistant Director at the State Bank of Pakistan for four years. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Commissioner in Sindh, a role I achieved after successfully clearing the Central Superior Services (CSS) exams.
In summary, the Kohatians Foundation is not just a charitable organization; it is a catalyst for change in the lives of many deserving students. The fairness and integrity with which they operate inspire confidence and hope. I wholeheartedly endorse KF and its mission, as it continues to uplift and empower future generations.
Regards,
Kohatians Foundation has always worked for junior kohatians who were unable to pay fees and expenses. I am from 41st entry JH ,and we had 4 cadets who were getting 50% or full support on tuition fees. And we are proud of our senior kohatians, especially Ikram Ghani bhaijan, who started this Foundation for welfare of junior brothers, and We were taken care of like family. I am sharing this only on behalf of 41st JH. There were so many Cadets who were taken care of, keeping in view their family poor economic condition specially Orphans.
I am writing this because we came across few messages in chapter groups where KF was criticized about fairness of KF contributions.
Regards
I am Cadet Muhammad Waleed Yousaf (Kit 5779) from Rustam House. I come from a low income family. My father, a retired Lance Naik in the army, worked as a driver at CCK.
When I qualified the entry test, despite the fee concessions for the wards of employees at CCK, my family couldn’t afford to pay for my education here. However, Dr. Ikram Ghani from the Kohatian Foundation decided to pay for all of my expenses at the college, allowing me to pursue my studies without paying heed to financial hurdles.
In July 2024, after a long standoff against pancreatic cancer, my father passed away. I had to join the hostel as my family moved out of the college. No longer a day scholar, my fees incremented significantly to include the added hostel costs. My mother, whose sole income source was my father’s meager army pension, would not be able to support the heavy costs of my stay here. Once again, the Kohatian Foundation offered aid at a time I needed it most, and funded the remainder of my studies at the college.
Their cooperation and help allowed me to focus solely and whole-heartedly on my studies. This surmounted to my 2nd position in the overall result at BISE Kohat’s F.Sc Part 1 examination. I was also able to secure 1540 marks in the SAT, an internationally conducted aptitude test for Engineering and Computer Science students, beating the previous college record of another Cadet by 70 points.
My voyage through the turbulent seas of fate and financial hardship with KF’s support is a testament to the Foundation’s unwavering commitment and dedication. They bring a cataclysmic impact on the Pakistani society and the Kohatian community by uplifting students filled to the brim with potential but held back by financial constraints. Without their support, I would undoubtedly not be here today.
