The Holy month of Ramadan is about to begin. May Allah bless all our dear brothers and their loved ones who left us for their eternal abodes during this period with the highest place in Jannat ul Firdous.
I would remind my esteemed Kohatians that the DONATION drive for the current year has been initiated. Over the last 4 years, in Pakistan, Peshawar Chapter had the major contribution in the donation drive. Our target for the current year across Pakistan is 6 million. Kohatians in Canada/ North America, UK&I, and Australia through their respective associations have been collecting contributions for KF every year.
So far, KF has provided financial assistance of PKR 43.64 million to 201 cadets. Currently financial assistance is provided to 30 cadets @ PKR 1860000 per term. The fees for three months (term) has gone up from 90000 to 150000.
With its present funding KF can finance only 30 to 40% of the most deserving cadets who apply for financial assistance. Depending on the financial position of the applicants, KF has been providing Rs.20000 to 130000 per term to the cadets. Applications received through the focal person (Azmat sahib) are carefully scrutinized by members of the KF board with input about academics, discipline and conduct from House Master and class teacher of each cadet. Only most deserving cadets are selected after detailed scrutiny. All the transactions of KF are through banking channel and no cash is paid or received by KF. Accounts of KF are audited each year by a Chartered Accountancy firm and the same are submitted to PCP.

KF has been providing financial assistance to deserving students in other educational institutions also.
All KA chapters’ presidents are requested to please collect and send contributions from kohatians in their respective regions and send the contributions to KF. We hope that Kohatians will donate generously this year too. May Allah help us. Ameen
