General Body Meeting of the Kohatians Foundation

The General Body Meeting of the Kohatians Foundation has been convened at 5 pm, Saturday 31^st July 2021 by way of Zoom, to follow safety protocols due to covid infections on the rise.

The agenda of the meeting will be –

1. Welcome and progress report of the KF activities
2. Presentation of financial statement of the Kohatians Foundation
3. Discussion and approval of amendments in the constitution of the Kohatians Foundation
4. Approval of Policies
5. Elections of the members of the Management Board.

The Management Board of the Kohatians Foundation has established the Board Development Committee. The Board Development Committee will: (1) draft the rules for election of the members of the Management Board (2) identify suitable candidates for the Management Board (3) receive and scrutinize nominations from other interested candidates for the membership of the Management Board (4) supervise the election process.

The members of the Board Development Committee are: Convener, Rahim Gandapur, and Syed Zulfiqar Ali.

All Members are invited to participate in the General Body meeting of the Kohatians Foundation. 

All those members who may be interested to be considered for membership of the Management Board of the Kohatians Foundation should send a letter of intent and latest resume/curriculum vitae to the focal person of the Board Development Committee, Engr. Abdul Rahim Gandapur at email bahadarkhel@hotmail.com and bahadarkhel@gmail.com , copied to Dr Syed Zulfiqar Ali at zalisyed@ghmail.com  by 25th July 2021.

Eligible voting members of the Kohatians Foundation can also vote by proxy and send a letter of nomination of member to vote by proxy for the KF member in writing to the Focal Person of the Board Development Committee and General Secretary of the Kohatians Foundation at email addresses given above.

The procedure for elections to the Management Board for Kohatians Foundation are uploaded to the website for information of the members.

Proposed Amendments to the Constitution are:

1. Changes to the Composition of the Management Board:
   1. Remove President and General Secretary of Kohatians Association as members of the Management Board
   1. Replace Nisar Ahmed with a KF Management Board designated Faculty member from CCK as CCK Liaison – currently Azmat sahib.
   1. Add a woman as a non voting Advisor for the Management Board from amongst Associate Members of Kohatians Foundation.
   1. Make changes as per advice of Pakistan Council of Philanthropy.
